Is there still a ferry that runs from NB to PEI?
Aaron's making a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE list of things he wants to do this summer and that's one of them but I'm not sure if they still have the ferry now that there's a bridge...any suggestions of things that Aaron must do while down East?

Hi Les This is Auntie Anne. There is no ferry that runs from NB to PEI, however, there is still one that runs from NS to PEI. It is towards cape breton but not that far. About an hour pass Truro I guess. Would love to have you all visit this summer. We will definitely be going to NB to coincide with the date that you will be there, and of course, you are all welcome to come and visit with us NS. We have lots of room. Hugs...
Hi Les, Wanted to say thank you for everyones addresses. It was a great help. I put a little gift for the boys in the mail on Saturday. They should hopefully receive them by Christmas. Oh yes, does Heather get nose bleeds very often. It is a MacAulay thing. Monica got them all the time when she was growing up and now Caitlynn gets them. I mean like 3 or 4 a day, and really bad. Tell Heather she will outgrown them...hehe. And it is probably adrinilizine that they used to pack her nose. That is what they usually use. Hugs, Auntie Anne and the gang
no ferry from NB to PEI but there is one from NS to PEI. if you're going to come to PEI you should take the ferry to PEI from NS then the bridge to NB when you leave, that way you did both and it's cheaper. it's 55 to take the ferry or 40 to take the bridge. we only charge you to get off the island, it's free to come over (i think this is a little scam the province is running).
I have taken both the ferry and the bridge to PEI and with two kiddies I would say that the ferry is certainly more fun, however if you're taking the bridge you get to keep them in the car, strapped in so they can't move anywhere.
Are you really all coming down .. how very exciting that would be, corn boiling, clam digging ... but I think I will opt out of the Lo Tide adventure. Been there, not pretty.
Hey, don't forget to leave time for all the stuff around Miramichi: the new boardwalk and shops with the BEST ice cream, and play area for kids downtown Newcastle. Kouchibouquac park has a beautiful beach and camp ground. Kids will love it. And of course, you'll have to get Joe to show you the famous "rock" on Grandmere's property.
