Yoga is not my friend!....says Post # 301....

Christina, I have no idea how you could subject your body to Yoga every Thursday night at the Y !?! Tonight I was feeling pretty svelt and thought I was pretty hot stuff and thought I'd take the drop in yoga "beginner" class...yeah right...it was only meant for skinny women in spandex that could actually put their foot behind their head. I was so out of my league but like the trooper I am I stuck it out for the entire hour and managed to not throw up until I was nearly home. Was it too much stretching or did I gulp down too much water too fast?!?

haha, I used to do yoga all the time...I found it very relaxing...Some of those breathing exercises in the beginning made me laugh the first time though...It gets easier!

Kelsey and I take yoga every Thursday night .. and we love it.

I used to do Yoga every Wednesday for an hour and a half before JJ and I got serious (before the ring) .. you know the days when I was still fighting hard to stay thin with rock hard abs .. haha!

Truthfully though, give it a chance, go a few times .. you'll really get a good work out out of it and maybe even like it!

are you sure you were in the beginners class, because even I take yoga classes. It must be your instructor. Pilates is the way to go if you are looking to tone and burn fat though and its more about balance that bending like a pretzil.

It does get easier. But, then again, there are some things that not everyone will be able to do. Like when I used to go, there was this position where you were supposed to be laying flat on your stomach and forehead on the floor...lol...not meant for somone with big boobs unless you have a really long neck!

I used to love yoga. I bet if you keep going you will begin to like it even more.
