This acutally should have been a Monday post but we were at the hospital

Our emergency turned out to be nothing at all. I went to the gym last night and came home to find Alex passed out on the sofa with ice on his very swollen fingers, apparently he was playing on the elliptical trainer when Aaron had taken a first call for work. So I rushed him to the hospital and 2 doctors checked him and said he was fine but because of his broken arm 2 summers ago I didn't want to wait a day and find out they really were broke...anyhow...I left my house at 8:42 and arrived back home at 10:18! Only an hour and a half for the entire trip which is unheard of if it involves going to a Calgary hospital. Alex didn't even get to watch the entire Shrek movie, we started it on the beginning of our journey and when we got home it was right before the Pinocchio/thong scene.
By the time Alex settled down to sleep it was 11:30 and here it is 7 in the morning and he's already been up for an hour. This child of mine must be an insomniac because he typically only sleeps for 8 hours which is quite lower than the typical 12 hours "they" say he should have.

***That was supposed to be a HAPPY MONDAY picture of Joseph***

Alex, How are you feeling today? Nannie was sorry to hear about your accident. Hope your fingers are back to normal for Thanksgiving...I'd like to have some fun with you and your playdough. Joseph can join in also!

Love Nannie
