Obviously I am still not smarter than my iPod touch and have yet to figure out why the keyboard disappears when I attempt to write the body of the post.
I spent the day with my boys remembering, reflecting and attempting to read In Flanders Fields without crying. Maybe next year I will have more success. It is a very emotional poem, and when I heard the Last Post being played Alex automatically got me some Kleenex. Guess I am the kind of person that openly display what they are feeling.
Thank you to all those who have served our country in the past, the present and in our future. Lest we forget.

If you'd ever come to Belgium I'll take you to Flanders Fields...the amount of graves there are unimaginable, even when you are looking at them
