Here's a Challenge for all bloggers!
There are prizes to be won too....
13 things heard at the lunch table today
- I have an epi-pen.
- Really? My papa has a special snorkel so he can breathe at night.
- Hey! Is this cow's milk?
- Seriously? Have I EVER given you cow's milk before?
- Hmmm....nope. You love me and that's why you buy soy milk just for me.
- Can we play Martian Matter after lunch?
- What's an epi-pen? I have a yellow puffer.
- Hey! I have a yellow puffer too. You should come to my house one day with your yellow puffer and I'll have my yellow puffer and that would be so cool.
- Can we go for a Halloween walk today?
- Somebody's stinky!
- If blueberry syrup is made from blueberries what is maple syrup made from? Strawberries or raspberries?
- I don't have an epi-pen or a puffer but I do have a pimple.
- Is it Friday yet?

It was inevitable
The jury's still out when it comes to Alex's brows:
And finally, my pumpkin bowl:
It was an evening out for my mother in law and I and this was the final result. It was my first class and I quite enjoyed it. As a matter of fact I've booked a party of 6 for a couple weeks from now for Janine's birthday celebration. I think it will be a great night :o)
Guess what they're advertising

Where the heck was my camera?
It was probably about 8 or 9 degrees outside so not exactly water weather BUT once he seen Aaron drag the sprinkler out to the backyard he had a one track mind!
So funny!

And so it begins - a new chapter of - BUNCO
Some of the original girls have switched over to mine. I almost feel guilty.
Almost
:P
Friday night is our first night and it'll be fab. We've changed the prize distribution slightly and decided to play for gift cards only. I find that sometimes if you can't pick a theme it can be really hard to shop for prizes that everyone would enjoy. I suppose the same is true with picking stores to shop at but this is where I've picked:
We've also eliminated the hostess gift and gone with $30 gift cards versus $20. You can't please everyone BUT they can always re-gift to a teacher at Christmas...not that I've ever done that...seriously I haven't...

Why Me???
I placed my Stampin Up order as per usual and it was due to be delivered on Friday. I was home Friday and no package BUT with the wedding, house cleaning and going out that evening I kind of forgot about it until now. So, checked my status online and yeah, apparently IT WAS DELIVERED! It even states on the proof of delivery Met Cust Wom which I'm thinking implies that it was personally given to a female at the door?!?
So, I've emailed an inquiry to see where we go from here?!
Why me??!
2 weeks later
Maybe it's the kick in the butt I need to get my blogging back on track. I guess we'll see.
Anyhoo, I'll skip recapping the last few weeks. And start from today, okay from yesterday.
We attended our 4th wedding of 2008! (That's an unusally high amount of weddings for us). So in my 4th new outfit, we headed to the church to watch Shane and Tamara exchange nuptials. The priest was fairly long-winded but in a nice way. It didn't seem like preaching but more of just conversing. I don't know if that made sense, but it wasn't a hardship to listen to and I think a lot of people walked away with a little something from him.
Here are the newlyweds:
We didn't bring our camera to the reception which turned out to be a good thing because WE DANCED THE ENTIRE FREAKING NIGHT!!! I could barely walk this morning! Love my new shoes - no blisters - BUT my toes aren't used to high heels. In any case it was great!
Here is the only picture with me in it from the ceremony and it was obviously an accidental pic:
There are 4 songs that need to be played at any Beck wedding:
I Knew the Bride When She Used to Rock N Roll
The Broom Dance song - I can't remember what it's called but you literally dance with a broom
Rasputin for some good ole fashion russian dancing with Uncle Fidele
Beat It by Michael Jackson for cousin Darcy to dance to. It's great fun! He's got a whole routine choreographed..
So, all in all, it was one heck of a party, can't wait to see the pictures!
And today the boys went to a bowling birthday party. They loved it! Joey's turning out to be quite a good bowler. I think his final score was 114, not too shabby! Alex didn't break a hundred, it was close though 97 or 98. I'm thinking that maybe they could take up bowling as an extracurricular activity. Is that dorky? I never hear of anyone's kids being in a bowling league?!
