Last night was one of those blah nights when I just realllllly didn't feel like cooking.

Aaron and I gave the boys a few options and they picked Jack Astor's for dinner. The food was awesome!

This is one of the few restaurants where they eat their entire plate, as well as two pieces of cheesy garlic bread (can you blame them) and dessert.

Delish!

I wore plaid shorts Friday night and thought I'd do some complimentary toes...but plaid and polka dots don't exactly go together, do they?

The boys were very excited to see Uncle Jeff a couple days ago. They didn't quite understand the whole idea of The Kloschinsky's moving to BC. They got that they were moving but not that they wouldn't see them as much. We tried the Skype'ing but our evenings are so busy that it's hard to plan a chat session. H can verify that as she has better odds of getting me on my cell than house phone.

In any case, they were happy to see their uncle and are waiting anxiously for a visit with Auntie and Jon :o)

Hey Newbie - what do you think?

Last night Jenn, Newbie, Tammy and I went to see Barenaked Ladies. It was fantastic! I was skeptical when I seen the opener Joel Plaskett but his music was great. His image of wrangler's with a ginormous red shirt just didn't seem to go with his voice. I think he should go see John Mayer for some tips on how to pull off the jeans and shirt look.

Ed was great - I even liked his singing for the "steve" songs. So as I was watching Ed I realized that he looks somewhat like Puck from Glee (besides the blue eye/brown eye diff of course). Newbie wasn't so sure hence the post. Wish I could figure out how to do this side by side...

The best things in life are FREE!

Yesterday the boys had a playdate with their cousins'. It was a lot of fun, lot's of time in the new bouncer and playing Monsters vs. Aliens. The part that sticks out the most in my mind is when Easton saw a ladybug flying and was so excited to see it fly as opposed to crawling around. Definitely put a smile on our faces :o)

Why I want to un-friend "friends"

Nothing annoys me more than people that just lurk around snooping, spying and making catty comments about your life AND NOT SAYING THEM TO ME. Is it so hard to click "like" when you say something that they agree with and show that they are active in your life and not just a LURKER. Hate that.
So are lurkers really friends? Do you have people on your friends list that YOU NEVER HEAR FROM? Does it make you wonder if you're really even friends?
I'll get over it I'm sure... and the blogging will get back on track. My goal for May is to post every day. March and April were a bit of a write-off. I must admit that my emailing has improved though, instead of posting for the whole wide world to see I've been sending some of my gems of a story to my besties.
